How far is Sallandshoeve from the host cities of the Korfball World Championship 2027?

Sallandshoeve is right on the A1 in Nieuw Heeten, making it easy to combine with several host cities in the east and northeast of the country, including Almelo (around 30 minutes), Hoogeveen (around 45 minutes), and Duiven (around 55 minutes).

Can the whole team stay in the same area?

Yes, we offer bungalows for 4 or 6 people, and you can book several next to or near each other, so the team, coaching staff, and support crew stay together on the park.

Is there a restaurant on the park?

Yes, there's a restaurant on site with a somewhat more limited menu. For larger groups, we're happy to coordinate with the restaurant about extended opening hours.

Can we also book for a shorter period, around our match days?

Yes, we're happy to work out a stay that fits your match schedule, even if that's a shorter period within the tournament.

In which languages can we communicate with Sallandshoeve?

We communicate in Dutch, German, and English, so international teams, staff, and supporters can coordinate with us in their own language.

From 15 to 24 October 2027, the Netherlands hosts the Korfball World Championship. The tournament is played across twelve host cities nationwide, with the semi-finals and final held at Ahoy Rotterdam. If your team is playing in Almelo, Hoogeveen, or Duiven, holiday park Sallandshoeve is a practical base: close by, quietly located, and right on the A1.

Good to know

Our bungalows are self-catering: towels, bed linen, and toilet paper are not provided as standard and need to be brought yourself. Bed linen, towels, and a kitchen package can optionally be rented separately.
